Born in Miami and raised in Costa Rica, Adriana has had a lifelong penchant for physical activity and the natural world, both of which she attests to be profoundly healing. After graduating from Duke University with a double major in biology and environmental science & policy in 2000, Adriana continued to pursue her passion in tennis and competed in the professional women’s circuit. She was forced to cut her tennis career short due to a chronic back injury, which she self-healed against all doctors’ prognosis via a disciplined yoga practice and increased body awareness.

Adriana has delivered the balanced, power-packed healing combo of mind-body consciousness fitness training and massage therapy to her clients from an approach of heightening awareness and intuitive communication with the body.  Her goal is to get clients in tune with their body, learn its language and experience it at its most potent vibrancy; achieving a balance and state of zen in all aspects of one’s life.

Janet is our office manager; she has been involved in the tourism industry for over 10 years, having worked as A travel agent, saleswoman, and itinerary designer. She handles all the communication with our local service providers and orchestrates all the pieces that compose your trip.  Janet loves yoga, her Yorkshire Terriers and is fluent in Spanish, English and German. Don’t let her petite appearance fool you; she is an avid and powerful paddler.

Often she remains behind the scenes of our perfectly managed trips, but whenever possible she joins us on one of our adventures for she loves paddling, and being in the outdoors. We don’t blame her, in fact, we inspire her to come along as she’s a cheerful team player, keen in listening and learning about our clients!
